BTF on COVID-19 holds meet at Bhandari

Dimapur, May 6: The Block Task Force on COVID-19, Bhandari Sub-division, held a meeting on Thursday in view of the current surge of COVID-19 in the office chamber of ADC Bhandari.


ADC & Chairman, BTF, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang (NCS) while lauding the BTF members for providing COVID-19 services to the public with sincerity, reiterated that border screening check gate, which is now activated, will be properly monitored for health precautionary measures. He said the COVID-care centre, which has been set up, should be sufficient to meet the needs of the public for now.
The meeting deliberated on strict enforcement of COVID-19 SOPs and protocols laid down by the Government and resolved to adhere to wearing of mask, hand washing and providing sanitizers at all public places. It also resolved to expedite setting up of village functionaries to monitor and inform BTF on persons with travel history from outside the State. The meeting reiterated that the civil societies will continue to assist and support the administration to combat COVID-19 pandemic as and when required.


The ADC further stressed on the importance of rendering services to the people at such difficult times and reminded the Heads of Offices to remain at respective work station. (Page News Service)
