BSF conducts civic action programmes

Dimapur, January 22: The 111 Bn BSF stationed at Satakha organised a civic action programme on January 21 at CI Post Kilomi and distributed sports items, solar lights panel, RO plants and water storage tanks to the villagers of Kilomi, Shishulimi, Chisholimi, Khugutomi, Hebolimi and Mukalimi.
This gesture of BSF was appreciated by one and all and will go a long way in measuring the expectations of the local population and discharging the assigned mandate in an effective manner.
On January 22, they conducted a similar programme, and a free medical camp, at Sekruzu Village in Phek District (Nagaland).
Sanjay Tandan, Commandant, interacted with the civilians and distributed water storage tanks to villagers of Terhutsesemi and Ruzazho.
The Battalion Medical Officer along with Community Health Officer, Health and Wellness Centre, attended to patients and gave away medicines.
