Dimapur, February 6: Based on credible intelligence input regarding drug smuggling activity from Duncan Bosti area, operation was launched by AET Dimapur Police, led by Officer-in-Charge West PS.
One suspected apartment was raided from where brown sugar concealed in soap cases numbering 12, were seized. The seizure was approximately 130 grams of brown sugar (Heroin)
Two accused person were arrested from the location and two more drug smugglers were arrested from Khermahal and Sematila Colony.
The arrested accused have been identified as Moses (39 yrs) of Chimai village, Senapati, P/Add-6th Mile, Tenepyhe – I, Chumukedima; Paul Humtsoe (41 yrs) of Sanis, Wokha, P/Add- Duncan Bosti, Dimapur; Martha (34 yrs) of Shirong village, Senapati, P/Add- Sematila, Dimapur; and Daveikho (26 yrs) of Phaipung, Senapati, P/Add- Sovima village, Dimapur.
