Kohima, March 17: The Bright Morning Star Children Home (BMSCH) today celebrated its 7th foundation day in the presence of Kohima deputy commissioner Anoop Kinchi.
This Home, located at Perizie colony, Kohima, is run by IDEAL (IW) Charitable Society led by Abi Angami as founder director.
Gracing the occasion, Kohima deputy commissioner Anoop Kinchi maintained that the kids should not only focus in studies but also take vocational training so as to be self dependent in future.
He also encouraged the children to do well in their studies and also consider themselves lucky to be in the hands of wonderful instructors.
Later, he congratulated the Home for completing its seven years successfully.
IDEAL (IW) Charitable Society founder director Abi Angami briefed on how it started Bright Morning Star Children Home.
She expressed gratitude to all the well wisher and supporters for being a part of this Home.
Also delivering short speech, Akhie Liezietsu, chairman Perizie colony encouraged the children to do well in their academic career.
The function was chaired by BMSCH superintendent Aleno while vote of thanks was proposed by BMSCH PO Watisenla.
