Kohima, June 20: The week-long blood donation camp at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima, which began on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day on June 14, concluded on June 19.
The camp was organised by Voluntary Blood Donors Association Kohima (VBDAK), in collaboration with Assam Rifles and support of Blood Bank Naga Hospital.
Chairman of VBDAK, Bendang Imsong said that while the demand for blood has increased due to the pandemic situation as compared to the previous years, the camp was conducted successfully. Altogether 31 voluntary blood donors came forward to donate blood in this year’s blood donation camp at Naga Hospital Kohima, he informed.
