Dimapur, December 9: The Nagaland state ST Morcha(Schedule Tribe) State Executive meeting was held on December 6 at BJP State head office Kohima. The meeting was graced by Moba Konyak, Pastor, Konyak Baptist Church Kohima. The guest speakers, Kevechutsu Doulo Chairman NEPeD and Johny G Rengma, Director National Finance & Development Corporation GOI enlightened the audience by highlighting various government schemes initiated by the central government for the welfare of Tribals under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and encouraged to avail and act as facilitator to reach the rightful beneficiaries. The meeting discussed the duties and responsibilities of BJP Karyakartas and resolved to work at the grassroots level for organizational set up of ST Morcha at the mandal level to strengthen the BJP party in Nagaland under the dynamic leadership of Temjen Imna Along, State President BJP and Minister Higher & Technical Education, Nagaland and Y Patton, Deputy Chief Minister & BLP Leader Nagaland.
The meeting also discussed about the proposed Maha Adhivesan (Tribal Convention) scheduled to held in the month of February 19 at Odisha and resolved to send at least 5 delegates from each district.
