BJP Dimapur district executive meet held

Dimapur, October 27: The Bharatiya Janata Party Dimapur District held its 7th District executive meeting today at Hotel Saramati Dimapur Nagaland.
The meeting was graced by Minister of PHED, Jacob Zhimomi as special Guest.
In his speech he said that BJP party is a cadre base and a disciplined party and encouraged the party workers to work in the mantra of Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi where country comes first, party second and individual last.
He also stated that 1118 toilets construction have been completed in six months by his department in rural areas and Nagaland has been declared as open defecation free state.
He also requested the party workers to encourage people at the grass root level to procure the Ayushmaan Bharat Yojana which he recently launched at Dimapur District Hospital which provides health insurance upto Rs 5 lakhs per family annually.
State Mahila President Nini Cheng also encouraged the Mahila party workers to be active in social media platform and in politics.
One minute silence was observed as a mark of respect to Late K Medom, former president of BJP Dimapur District.
Earlier the program was chaired by Atu Jamir secretary, presidential address was given by L Bendang Ao District president and vote of thanks was pronounced by Ikato V Sumi. The meeting was attended by various Morchas and Mandals President and General Secretary along with Dimapur District executives and state party officials stationed at Dimapur. (Page News Service)
