BJP congratulates Tokheho


Dimapur, June 2: Bharatiya Janata Party Nagaland State President, Visasolie Lhoungu along with all rank and files of the party unit congratulated Tokheho Yepthomi, the PDA(Peoples Democratic Alliance) consensus candidate for the massive victory in the just concluded parliamentary by-election in the State.
Despite many stiff opposition and propagandas against the PDA during the campaign season, the outcome of the result has proven again the people’s support and faith on the PDA government which compromises of NDPP, BJP, NPP, JD(U) and Independent.
The party reiterated that the aspirations of the People of the State will be uphold by the PDA government in the days to come.
While expressing its sincere gratitude to the people of the State for voting and electing the PDA candidate, the party also appreciated the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio for spreading the campaign for PDA candidate effectively and tirelessly.
Besides the State machineries, the Party appreciated the PDA alliance partners and also acknowledges its 12 BJP legislators and all party workers of the various levels for their active participation in the by-election.

The Bharatiya Janata Party , Dimapur District has thanked all the party ranks and files of Dimapur District for their contribution towards the success in the recently conducted Nagaland Parliamentary Lok Sabha bye election.
The BJP, Dimapur District also expressed gratitude to Minister of PHED, Government of Nagaland and Convenor of PDA Election Committee of Dimapur District, N Jacob Zhimomi and Advisor of Power and Co convenor of PDA election Committee Dimapur District, Tovihoto Ayemi for their selfless and tireless contribution in all spheres.
The BJP Dimapur District also congratulated PDA consensus candidate Tokheho Yepthomi for the thumping victory.
While congratulating PDA candidate Tokheho Yepthomi on getting elected as MP (Lok Sabha), NPCC President, K Therie thanked the people of Nagaland who voted for NPF candidate C Apok Jamir in the recently concluded Lok Sabha Bye election.
Stating that the fight to protect the principles of secularism and liberal democracy had resonated throughout the state, Threie said it has now become an established fact that the PDA government had used all the government machinery and resources at its disposal to win this bye election that was imposed on the people of Nagaland with barely a year to go for next Lok Sabha elections.
He appealed to the people of Nagaland not to lose sight of our principles and beliefs and remain steadfast in our commitment to protect our rights and freedom as guaranteed by the constitution.
He said with the success of Congress and united opposition parties in the recently concluded by elections across the country, the downfall of BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has begun with the mood of the nation already yearning for change, adding, Congress and other secular minded parties in Nagaland will continue to fight and defeat the evils of communalism manifested in the form of BJP and supported by NDPP.
