BJP celebrates electoral victory


Dimapur, March 3: Amidst firecrackers and victory slogans, the party workers of Bharatiya Janata Party, Nagaland along with the candidates and the National General Secretary, Ram Madhav celebrated the successful election of 12 of its 20 candidates fielded in the just concluded Assembly elections.
Ram Madhav, who arrived in the evening today at Hotel Saramati.
He along with the State President, Visasolie Lhoungu, acknowledged the hard work of the party workers and candidates which ensured the victory for the party and ensured another innings in running the government to bring about all round development in the state.
Madhav congratulated the successful candidates who fared very well and the party workers and said such fruits of successes would not have been possible without relentless and tireless efforts. He thanked each and every party worker who sacrificed their time and energy for this momentous event and promised a most suitable arrangement in the next 24 hours that would bring relief to all the party workers and the people at large.
On the success of the party’s election efforts in the state, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi tweeted, “Thank you Nagaland for supporting @BJP4Nagaland and our valued ally. I assure my sisters and brothers of Nagaland that we will continue to work for the progress and prosperity of Nagaland. I applaud the tireless work of the local BJP unit.”
Earlier, Ram Madhav also tweeted: “I wish to highlight d spectacular performance of BJP in Nagaland. It has won 12 seats out of d contested 20. Highest ever.”
The Bharatiya Janata Party thanked each and everyone who had supported the party and brought victory to the party’s candidates. (Page News Service)
