Dimapur, July 3: Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie NCS has informed that Bethel Kitchen, Kohima shall be functional/operational from July 4 onwards.
The Bethel Kitchen was closed down after some frontline workers were tested positive for COVID-19. The authority initiated a mass preventive testing for COVID-19 infection for all the persons/workers involved in the kitchen was carried out compulsorily, and all the results were COVID negative.
However, as per the guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID-19 in workplace settings issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Directorate General of Health Services (EMR Division), Government of India, the Bethel Kitchen was temporarily closed/shut for 48 hours and fumigated following all health safety measures and SOPs of the Government.
The DC advised all workers/persons involved in the Bethel Kitchen Kohima to follow all safety precautions of wearing masks all the time, frequently washing hands and maintain social/physical distances to ensure public hygiene and personal safety. (Page News Service)
