Before Avengers: Infinity War, an epic recap of where its 30 superheroes are

Avengers: Infinity War is just a day away and there is nothing that can help fans keep calm. However, it’s our duty to keep you distracted from the agony of the long wait. To help you out on this final day, we have prepared a long list of when and where you saw your favourite characters for the last time before they all assemble to fight the big bad Thanos on Friday.
Here we go:
Iron Man/Tony Stark, Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan
The last time we saw Tony and Pepper, he was about to pop the big question to her. At the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), when Peter Parker changes his mind about revealing himself to the world, Tony has nothing to give to the press waiting for a big announcement. He decides to ask Pepper to marry him and Happy already has a ring in his pocket.
Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Sam Wilson/Falcon
We saw these members of Team Cap imprisoned on The Raft in Captain America: Civil War (2016). They were eventually freed by Captain America after he broke into the prison and bashed up some security personnel. They must still be in hiding for all we know.
Steve Rodgers/Captain America
Captain left Bucky with T’Challa and his people in Wakanda at the end of Captain America:?Civil War to keep him safe and away from the people he could unintentionally harm. Did he decide to stay in Wakanda as well? We don’t know. Also, the Cap is without his shield which was claimed by Iron Man at the end of Civil War.
Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier and Shuri
A fresh-out-of-hibernation Bucky was revealed in the post-credit scene for Black Panther. He was seen talking to T’Challa’s sister Shuri, who seems to have fixed his brain finally. Shuri, meanwhile, is also supposed to be working with the world to give them access to Wakanda’s technology.
Vision was last seen in Captain America: Civil War feeling guilty and gloomy about hurting War Machine during the airport fight scene. He apologises to Tony for being distracted but he still didn’t forgive himself.
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow
We last saw her getting angry at Tony for keeping his ego above everything in Captain America: Civil War. She betrayed him and gave Captain America a chance to run away at the end of the airport battle. Tony warned her that authorities will soon come for her for aiding Captain America so we assume she must be on the run.
Guardian of The Galaxy: Peter Quill, Gomorra, Drax, Groot, Rocket and Mantis
The last we saw these people, they were aboard their ship and witnessing the beautiful tribute given to Yondu by The Ravagers in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. A post-credit scene also revealed a teenage Groot showing attitude to Peter upon being asked to clean his room.
The last we saw Nebula, she was on her way to find and kill Thanos at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. After making peace with her sister Gomora, she chooses not to join the Guardians but go out looking for her evil father. She will definitely feature in Avengers: Infinity War, fighting alongside the Avengers against her dad.
Bruce Banner/Hulk
The last we saw Hulk, he had just fought Thor’s sister Hela in Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok. He then flees the dying planet aboard the ship with Thor, Loki, Heimdall, Valkyrie and the rest of the Asgardians.
Thor and Loki
At the end of Thor: Ragnarok, the two brothers were contemplating why going to Earth would not be a good idea considering what Loki did to New York in Avengers. Their discussion is interrupted by…
Thanos’ huge ship floats in and completely eclipses Thor’s at the end of Thor: Ragnarok. We assume this is where Avengers: Infinity War will kick off from.
Doctor Stephen Strange
Our last meeting with Doctor Strange was at the New York Sanctum Sanctorum in a special appearance in Thor: Ragnarok. He gives Thor and Loki a chance to meet Odin by creating a portal through space.
Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Aunt May
The last time we saw these two, Aunt May had learned of Peter’s powers as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Homecoming. She let out a dirty word and the movie ended, leaving us wanting a better look at her reaction.
T’challa/Black Panther, Agent Ross and Okoye
T’challa, Okoye and Nakia were at the United Nations when we last saw them, offering aid to the world. A smug politician asks them what a poor nation like Wakanda could have to offer the world when the movie cuts with a smile on T’challa and Agent Ross’ faces.
Nick Fury
It’s been a long time since we met Nick Fury. We saw him last in Avengers: Age of Ultron when he came to Clint Barton’s home to give the Avengers a small pep talk to fight against Ultron. Hopefully, we will meet him again in Infinity War. (Courtesy: HT)
