Be willing to take risks in life: Temjen Imna tells students


Dimapur, July 6: Minister for Higher & Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along today said that students need hard work and determination to fulfill their dreams.
“You should go with preparation and dream, be willing to take risks of life,” he told the students of Unity College during its 12th Fresher Social cum Annual Day today.
He said, “No situation and no circumstances can stop you if you want to empower to bring change for the family, society and nation.”
Encouraging the students and staff to dream and inspire others, he said the inner potential of the state is yet to come to that place where one can nurture them to become the strength of our state and country.
He categorically told the Freshers and seniors of the College, “If you do not aspire with all of your heart, if you do not dream with all of your mind, and if you do not put all your efforts what you are trying to do then you will just be a certificate holder of your education that you wanted to get. But if you put all your energies and asked Gods’ blessing and put everything that you are to aspire and dream not only for yourself but for all the people those that are weaker than God will blessed you and will be a blessing to our people more.”
He also said that dreams are achieved not by extraordinary people but ordinary people who think worth and practice extraordinarily.
On the occasion, Dr. S.K.Chabbra, Principal of Unity College has enlightened the function with the Achievements of the Institution.
Previously, Temjen Imna Along, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education Govt. of Nagaland has unveiled the Unity College Academic Block 2 Foundation Stone.
Meanwhile, the crowning of Mr & Miss Freshers was also held today. After rigorous rounds of selection, Pouhemlong Rongmei and Chochoi were crowned Mr & Miss Freshers 2018 respectively. (Page News Service)
