BAN condemns


Dimapur, May 1: The Business Association of Nagas (BAN) has condemned the abduction of the driver of a petrol tanker and his handyman at New Helipong village in Tuensang and appealed to the perpetrators to release the two persons without causing them any harm.
In a release, BAN also appreciated the effort of the State Government for initiating discussions with the four organizations – Kohima petroleum dealers association, Dimapur petroleum dealers association, Nagaland tanker transport association and oil tanker driver’s union. It also thanked the four organizations for giving assurance to open the petrol pumps for the welfare of the public. The BAN also requested the Government to step up their efforts so that the abducted persons are rescued unharmed. (Page News Service)
