Dimapur, April 18: The Angami Youth Organization (AYO) has expressed anger at the NPF’s “senseless allegations” against Lhubeilatuo Kire, Principal Secretary, RD, who, it said, is a sincere officer in the Nagaland state bureaucracy.
“Their baseless allegations has tantamount to defamation devoid of any substantial evidence or reasonable explanations except that a personal vendetta is levelled to make him a political scapegoat and a victim of any unexplainable reasons best known to themselves only,” said the AYO in a statement.
The AYO maintained that any ruling government or opposition having grudges or criticism against each other are absolutely natural. But it said resorting “to the pathetic standard of NPF stooping as low to as such unnatural measure is completely against all conventional norms both professionally and traditionally.”
“Therefore, we are compelled to caution that far from political equations, the balance of the social strata of our society and respect of its values are equally important and this unwarranted assault on him who happens to be a member of our community is unacceptable,” it stated.
The AYO demanded the NPF to provide appropriate evidence to prove their allegations or apologise to him publicly. “We trust that good sense shall prevail so as to avoid further conflicts and aggravation of the existing crisis entirely created by the NPF,” it added. (Page News Service)
