Dimapur, May 6: The Health & Family Welfare Tuensang in collaboration with the Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS) Tuensang conducted awareness campaign on Covid-19. The team has divided into three groups and each team consists 3-4 members to cover up all the ward/sectors in two days i.e. on May 4 and 5.
The teams, during the awareness campaign spoke on the importance of preventive measures, stigma social discrimination, disposal of dead body of Covid-19 and how to take care of quarantine person etc. The teams were also shown hand washing demonstration.
The teams advised the parents not to take the children while going out for shopping during this pandemic lockdown continues.
The teams encouraged the ward/sector leaders to take active part in imparting awareness to the people of their respective ward/sectors on the present situation and urged to be strictly follow the orders issued by higher ups to take the preventive measures to control Covid-19. (Page News Service)
