Ato Kilonser of NPGN/NNC passes away

Dimapur, March 27: Ato Kilonser of NPGN/NNC, Z Hozehto Chophy passed away today.
The NSCN/GPRN has expressed grief at the demise of Z Hozheto Chophy, Ato Kilonser, NPGN/NNC today.
In a condolence message, the MIP stated that late Hozheto was a man of principle with integrity and truthfulness who worked for the cause and the right of the Naga people with all sincerity and dedication.
The NSCN/GPRN also honoured the Naga leader for his selfless and valuable contributions rendered towards the cause of the Naga people and which shall remain etched in annals of the nation.
It further expressed its heartfelt condolences while also praying for solace of the bereaved family members and for eternal rest of the departed soul.
NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi):
The NSCN/GPRN (Akato Chophi) has also expressed grief at the demise of late Hozheto Chophi, Ato Kilonser, NNC/NPGN (NA), and Co-Convenor of 7 NNPGs.
Late Hozheto followed the footsteps of his late father Zuheshe Chophi, who was one of a top leader of NNC, and who later founded the Zuheshe Village under Niuland District.
Both father-son duo had forfeited the comforts of family, pleasures of life and persuing of successful dreams, but decided to dedicate their entire lives for the sake of National Cause, the MIP stated.
Stating that late Hozheto’s demise has caused great loss for the Sumis in particular and the Nagas in general, it prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
