ASU on non-indigenous candidates contesting for Grade-IV posts

Dimapur, July 31: The Angami Students’ Union has expressed displeasure over the non-indigenous candidates contesting for several Grade IV posts and rampant appointments made by certain departments and politicians against the Office Order Memorandum Dated, Kohima the 7th December 2016, No.AR-3/Gen-174/2007 (pt), wherein the Government has made a Standing Order that only indigenous inhabitants would be appointed in the District Offices in all Districts of Nagaland.
The Union impressed upon every Department to strictly adhere to the established norms of appointments, and accordingly all the resultant grade IV vacancies should be appointed according to the laid down ground rules of the order.
Any deviation or flouting this order would not be accepted or tolerated under any circumstances, it cautioned.
