Assessment camp for physically-challenged school children

Kohima, March 12: Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland under Nagaland Education Mission Society, is all set to conduct assessment camp for providing aids & appliances to all physically-challenged school-going children as well as those who are out of school, up to the age of 18 years.
Temsunaro Aier, State Mission Director of Samagra Shiksha, informed that the camp will assess children with the following: locomotor disability (to provide artificial limbs in collaboration with TPORC, Imphal), hearing Impaired children (to provide digital hearing aids in collaboration with Soundbeatz Pvt Ltd., East Delhi) and visually-impaired children (to provide spectacles in collaboration with the State’s Health and Family Welfare Department).
Camps will be held at all 46 Education Block Resource Centres (EBRCs) from March 14 to 26.
The respective District Inclusive Education (IE) Coordinators under District Mission Office & IE Resource persons/Special Educators in the EBRCs can be contacted for any query or assistance.

March 14: Changtongya, Wokha town, Mokokchung Village/Kubolong and Akuluto
March 15: Tamlu, Sanis, Khensa and Zunheboto town
March 16: Longleng, Bhandari, Mangkolemba and Satakha
March 17: Tobu, Nagarjan Kuda/Kushiabill, Watiyim and Aghunato
March18: Aboi, Niuland, Longkhim and Seyochung
March 19: Wakching, Medziphema, Noksen and Kiphire
March 21: Mon town, Doyapur, Hakushang and Pungro
March 22: Tizit, Ahthibung, Shamator and Meluri
March 23: Peren town, Noklak and Phek town
March 24: Chiephobozou, Tening and Pfutsero
March 25: Tseminyu, Pughoboto and Chozuba
March 26: L Khel (Kohima), Sechu-Zubza and Viswema
