Arunachal killings: Enough is enough, says NSCN (IM)

Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, MARCH 22: Irked by the killing of 2 NSCN cadres in Arunachal Pradesh on March 20, the NSCN (IM) has warned that it will not “take the things lying down.”
“What happened in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on the 20th March, 2022 has got on the nerve of NSCN after the Nginu killing more a year ago. But this time round, the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) is not going to take the things lying down. NSCN have had enough in the hands of the Assam Rifles (AR), and it is now time to say ‘enough is enough'”, it said in a press release.
The NSCN (IM) demanded a “decisive answer” from the Government of India (GoI) on the status of the Indo-Naga ceasefire in Arunachal Pradesh, warning that it is “ready to go for unrestrained fury to give sleepless nights to the AR in Arunachal Pradesh if the mindless attack against NSCN goes on unabated under one pretext or the other”.
Stating that NSCN has not sent its forces to Arunachal Pradesh to create nuisance or provoke “the trigger happy AR”, the released said, “But if the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, thinks that there is no ceasefire in Arunachal Pradesh, let it be so. NSCN shall waste no time to unbound itself from the shackle of the ceasefire ground rules it believes covers Arunachal Pradesh.”
