Arrival of Spl Train: Traffic restrictions on designated route; shops to remain open in Dimapur on June 13

Dimapur, June 12: In view of the Special Train arrive at Dimapur on June 13 at 5.30 a.m. carrying COVID-19 related stranded person from Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telengana, Commissioner of Police Dimapur stated that there would be restriction on vehicular traffic one hour prior and 4 hours post arrival of the special train along the designated route from Dimapur Railway Station to Agri Expo, 4th Mile (via Traffic Control Jn, Zone-I, Hotel Theja Fort (through under the Flyover)-Burma Camp Jn, Veterinary Jn-Old Dhansiri Bridge-Purana Bazaar Jn, T K Service, 2½ Mile to Agri Expo, 4th Mile).
However, in case of early/late arrival of the special train, the vehicular traffic restrict would be enforced accordingly one hour prior and four hours post arrival.
Dimapur police has appealed to all for cooperation in the interest of public safety.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Anoop Kinchi IAS has informed that there would be traffic restrictions in the area where movement of returnees would take place, however, shops would remain open for the convenience of the general public. (Page News Service)
