Army Technicians repair BMA Oxygen Plant generator

DIMAPUR, MAY 23: A team of technicians of the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME), stationed at 3 Corps Rangapahar Military Station, were at hand to fix a broken generator meant to run the Oxygen Plant at BMA Liquid Air Pvt. Ltd, United Village, Dimapur.
The PRO of 3 Corps, Col Rajeev Sharma, informed that it was likely the EME technicians were sent for the repair works after a request from the Civil Administration.
Reportedly, the Plant was facing some power supply issues, and due to defects in the standby generator set, oxygen cylinders could not be filled up.
The EME technicians ended up working through the intervening hours between May 22 night and May 23 morning.
Calls made to the proprietor of BMA Liquid Air, for confirmation and related queries, went unanswered.
Till date, BMA Liquid Air is the only oxygen generation plant in the district.
