Dimapur, October 3: As part of the ‘Swarnim Vijay’ celebration, commemorating the 50th anniversary of victory of the Armed Forces in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, Zakhama Military Station conducted a Pipe Band Display at Kigwema Local Ground on Sunday. The event was witnessed by NCC Cadets, Students of Loyola School, St Joseph’s College & the local population.
A spectacular display of martial music was conducted by the Pipe Band of the Army. The pipe and drummers marched in unison while impressing the crowd with stirring tunes. The event was conducted with an air to celebrate the military heritage of India and install a spirt of appreciation for the soldiers who served with distinction in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.
