Army commander review security situation in State

Dimapur, April 28: Lieutenant General Anil Chauhan, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Command visited Kohima on April 28 and was briefed about the prevailing security situation, operational preparedness and COVID-19 preparations of the formation.

The Army Commander appreciated the role played by the troops of Assam Rifles in Nagaland, in creating a conducive and peaceful environment in the region thereby building trust and faith of the populace in the Security Forces.
During the visit he was accompanied by Lieutenant General Johnson P Mathew, General Officer Commanding, Spear Corps. (Page News Service)
