Dimapur, January 3: Kohima Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted a lecture on ‘Clean and Green Nagaland’ at Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home, Nagaland on January 3.
The lecture was followed by a round of questions from students. During interaction, various Central and State Government schemes were also covered. The lecture also covered the need for adopting a healthy diet and regular exercise regime. 57 students attended the lecture.
Meanwhile, Kiphire Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) conducted lecture on ‘Education for Progression’ at Trinity High School, Kiphire on January 2. The aim of the lecture was to create awareness on importance of education not only for themselves as students but for the family and society as well. 65 students attended the lecture.
