Dimapur, October 1: Ghaspani Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) handed over the Community Hall to the people of Khonoma village on Saturday, which was constructed under AR Civic Action Program.
The Assam Rifles under the leadership of Maj Gen Vikas Lakhera, IGAR (N), under a major initiative and living up to its motto, “Friends of the Hill People” constructed and handed over a Community Hall to the Village Council of Khonoma village, Nagaland in presence of a distinctive gathering of social workers, villagers and elite dignitaries of Nagaland.
The Community Hall, the popular demand of the people of Nagaland will be largely able to meet the aspirations of people and facilitate the community to conduct regular meetings, celebrations and functions.
