Dimapur, April 6: PDA Member and Senior Vice President, Charlie Sekhose, who is also the Dimapur District In-charge graced the Aoleang Festival as the Special Guest hosted by Mopong Hongkong Union at Mount View Colony, Dimapur.
Greeting the Konyak community on behalf of the Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio and PDA Convenor and Party President NDPP, Chingwang Konyak, Charlie congratulated the Union for organizing the program and marking the special event in bringing the Konyak community together.
He further urged the Konyak community to pursue to preserve the aged old traditions and customs passed down by the early generation which many have lost track and become unaccustomed with.
While conveying his best wishes to the Konyak community, he encouraged them to strive for unity and oneness through this festival celebration.
Short speeches were delivered by DAN Chairman and NDPP working President, A Nyamnyei and President Mopong Hongkong Union, P Nyakba.
Special invitees including K Jakha, Vice President NDPP and General Secretary NDPP Youth Organisation, Lhouvi Punyu and others attended the celebration.
