
Dimapur, July 2: All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Wokha Unit on Saturday organized a felicitation programme of Class X and XII students of Taxi Association family with Y M Humtsoe NCS, Secretary to the Government of Nagaland (Rtrd) and vice president, central executive board of NDPP.
Speaking on the felicitation programme Humtsoe called upon the successful candidates to walk an extra mile for their future prosperity.
He congratulated the six successful students on their various academic achievements in bringing laurels to the taxi association family when their parents were working day and night to meet their needs.
While sharing his life experiences as a student during the earlier days, he challenged the students to work hard and shoulder the responsibilities and achieve the dreams of their parents expressing that the present generation are availing class facilities, and that the earlier society and the life of students were remote.
He told them to avail the opportunity with all provided facilities in life by making themselves comfortable and stick to their works as a students and remain 100% dedicated leaving aside all worldly wands and lifestyles of those rich class family lifestyles.
He told them to respect their parents’ profession and remain humble while perseverance.
He informed the students to utilize their time wisely, with self-belief and to remain disciplined with determination and to always put God to their works, which according to him it will only bring achievement in their life.
Ashanthung Humtsoe, president Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) invited the students to visit the office of LSU to share ideas or reach out to clear their doubts, while he assured to assist and help the student community.
Meanwhile, he told the students that their parents have a huge responsibility and play a vital role in the community with their services as a taxi driver. He asked them not to be ashamed of themselves for their parents as they are highly respected for their duties.
Meanwhile, he informed that LSU will also shortly conduct an annual felicitation programme of students’ excellence award.
Renbi Ngullie, president All Commercial Vehicle Association (ACVA) Wokha district in his short speech informed the students to use mobile phones positively as a source of knowledge for their career as students.
He called to even work and do manual work and do house chores and help their family during their free time, and reminded not to be carried away stating that success comes to those who sacrifice and help themselves.
During the programme Hayithung Odyuo, president ANTA Wokha unit in his keynote address informed that the programme was organized as per the 25 March 2022, resolution of ANTA made at Zunheboto, where he also congratulated to all the successful students of ANTA Wokha unit family and wish them to achieve greater heights.
Six students of ANTA Wokha unit family of HSLC and HSSLC students were awarded for their meritorious achievements while one candidate was awarded for securing a job in all India bank service exams.
