Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 7: The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) has thrown its weight behind the protesting All Commercial Vehicle Owners Association.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, the ANTA maintained that it stands with Commercial Vehicle Owners Association’s agitation against Nagaland Government’s failure to pay poll duty-related dues.
“The Association had notified and appealed before the competent authority on numerous occasions through verbal as well as written representation. However, despite repeated requests being put up, the Government has totally disregarded and ignored our grievances.
“The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) Hq. Kohima, expresses our utmost frustration and disappointment against the Government for its inaction. The Association demands immediate disbursement of the dues, otherwise the Association will stop all future co-operation with the Government of Nagaland”, it stated.
