Dimapur, April 1: The All Nagaland Taxi Association Dimapur unit has informed all taxi drivers as well as passengers to follow SOP strictly stating that no drivers or the passenger would be allowed to travel without masks worn correctly.
The ANTA said hand sanitizers should be carried at all times and all passengers must sanitize their hands before boarding.
It said the Association would conduct surprise checking from time to time to ensure safety as well as unwanted materials such as drugs, alcohol, yearly registration of the taxi ID card of the drivers, line slip and over speeding and defaulters would be penalized.
The ANTA Dimapur unit requested the taxi owners and the drivers and passengers to strictly follow the Sops. It also informed that in the days to come, the Association would set up centralization of taxi counter to ease the traffic congestion and for convenience of the commuters. (Page News Service)
