Dimapur, November 5: The silver jubilee celebration of All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) Dimapur Unit concluded on November 4 with a colourful and extravagant function at Holy Cross Hr. Sec. School’s Auditorium.
In his presidential address, Dr Andrew Ahoto, President of ANPSA Dimapur Unit, spoke on the essence of giving rather than receiving while also expressing his gratitude to all the founding members including K Terhuja and Fr. TO Sebastian for laying a strong foundation for the subsequent generations of ANPSA leaders to emulate.
According to him, leaders, especially school administrators, should give more emphasis on the seeds from which an apple tree grows rather than the seeds inside an apple. He was of the opinion that the future of private schools lay in the hands of the present leaders and therefore there should exist a healthy competition among the private schools so that everyone learns from each other thus leading to the growth and development of the private schools, educational fraternity and the student community.
Among others, Mrs. K.Terhuja, founder president of ANPSA Dimapur Unit and a veteran educationist also spoke on the occasion.
