ANCSU Collegiate Meet 2018 underway


Dimapur, November 13: The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) kicked off its Collegiate Meet Tuesday evening hosted by Dimapur Government College.
In the introductory session, Relo T Aye, ADCP Crime Dimapur graced the session as the Introductory Guest. He congratulated the ANCSU for organising the collegiate meet in such a grant event.
Speaking on the theme “Invigorating Young Talents” he shared his excitement that the meet gives platform to students to showcase and improve their talents.
Making a comparison between talent and a fruit seed, he said that talent is like a fruit seed and if nurtured well it will bear fruits.
Aye also wished that the ANCSU would continue to serve and pursue the core issues concerning to the students community. He stressed on the importance of dignity of hard work.
Aye shared his opinion that a change is needed in the education system of Nagaland. He further encouraged the students to practice the skilled work art and focus on the private job sector.
The program was chaired by Pithungo Shitio, Speaker ANCSU, God’s blessing was invoked by Vitoli Zhimo, Associate Pastor Youth Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church, while Kavili Jakhalu Principal Dimapur Government College gave the welcome address. Immanuel College Dimapur presented a special song and benediction was prayed by T Achum Shitiri, President Evangelical Union DGC.
Meanwhile, Tongpang Ozukum, Minister Public Works Department will be the inaugural Special Guest on November 14 with Temjen Imna Along, Minister Higher & Technical Education as the Chief host for the meet.
