Dimapur, June 8: An ambulance for Mongsenyimti Primary Health Centre was dedicated by Rev. Imti Ozukum, Pastor, Mongsenyimti compound Baptist Church, in the presence of Tongpang Ozukum, Minister PWD, Mechanical and Housing, on June 8 at Mongsenyimti village.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rachel, Medical Officer said the induction of the ambulance under the PHC will immensely benefit the surrounding villages, which comes under the PHC. She also said that the addition of the ambulance will be very beneficial and a extra advantage to ferry patients of the area, specially Covid patients.
Ozukum thanked the medical minister and medical department for understanding the impending need as a result of the prevailing pandemic and thereby allocating the ambulance for the benefit of the people.
The Minister also hoped that the PHC management team and Mongsenyimti village council will work hand in hand and utilize the ambulance judiciously as it is for the benefit of all the villages under Mongsenyimti PHC.
He also asked the council members and PHC management team to continue supporting one another so that lapses will not occur especially during this pandemic. (Page News Service)
