All soldiers screened for COVID at entry point into Nagaland: SF

Dimapur, July 3: The Indian Security Forces has informed that all its personnel, their dependents and transients are being stringently screened for COVID-19 at the point of their entry into the State of Nagaland.
Details of all such individuals are also being shared laterally with the aim to curb the disease at the earliest, said a release issued by the PRO Defence.
He said the quarantine facilities falling under the jurisdiction of Security Forces (Indian Army, Assam Rifles, CAPF etc) were inspected by the competent authorities of the Department of Health & Family Welfare to ensure uniform implementation of standards, protocols and advisories as per laid down Central Government regulations. These quarantine facilities have been observed to be maintaining high standards of medical safety and treatment, he said.
The PRO appealed to the general public not to fall victim to certain unscrupulous elements of society vying to spread rumours and disinformation. (Page News Service)
