Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, JULY 21: The Nikki Sumi-led NSCN (K) has stated that “all national workers” are at liberty to choose whichever political group they want to work under.

“When it comes to Nagas of all hues, NSCN/ GPRN has never questioned as to who goes where to achieve our inherent political rights”, the group said in a press release issued on Wednesday.
It stated that it was puzzled by the statements generated by certain Naga political groups, time and again “with no substance or truth”, as any political solution will be with the Government of India and all stakeholders among Nagas.
“It is very unfortunate that some Naga political groups are creating unwanted situation by repeatedly hurling unfounded and baseless allegation at NSCN/GPRN. Any matured and responsible organisation/government will try to be efficient and fulfilling in the expectation of the people rather than always trying to find fault in others”, read the press release.
It went on to state that NSCN/GPRN being “included as a third entity” doesn’t espouse or encourage mudslinging or divisions among Nagas.
NSCN/GPRN is not delusional to believe that there can be multiple number of peace or political solution, as it is a factual reality that Nagas as one unified people and one nation can only have a singular unified political settlement as there are no two ways about it, it stated.
