AIFF to organise online course for NE Coaches

IMPHAL, JUNE 17: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) will be organising an Online Refresher Course for Coaches with C License certificate, starting from June 21 as part of the revalidation process for coaches in Northeastern States.


Confirming this, General Secretary L Jyotirmoy of All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) speaking to this Reporter today said that the Online Refresher Course for Coaches is set to begin in the 8 NE States.
“Registered Coaches will be eligible for the course”, says Jyotirmoy. “The Coaches will be divided into a batch of 30 each with 4 sessions being conducted for these batches from Monday onwards.”
The final schedule along with batch-wise distribution of Coaches of the 8 NE States is expected to be announced within a day or two, he said.
The sessions are to be conducted on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The course is set to begin with the NE and Central Zone batches, it added. It may be noted that every candidate that attends the course will be awarded 2 CPD points.


According to the official AIFF website, the refresher course is to be conducted by AIFF Coach Educators -Savio Medeira, Shakti Chauhan, and Mariano Dias, along with other Coach Educators like Pradyum Reddy, Caetano Pinho, Jeddy Almeida, Richard Hood, Shekhar Kerkar, Sajid Dar, Bijish Ben, Uttam Negi, John Raj, Thomas C, Thulasi P, Dinesh Nair, and Gumpe Rime.
