AIDA reaches out to 188 families with food items

Dimapur, April 24: The COVID – 19 related lockdowns continue and so are the efforts at reaching out to the poor and needy. Today the AIDA (ANMA Integrated Development Agency) under the aegis of the Salesians of Don Bosco, reached out to 188 families residing in different colonies of Dimapur, viz., Burma Camp, Rongmei Colony, Kevichusa, Ragailong, Chungaigang, Naga Colony, Master Colony, Viola Colony, D-colony and Karie Colony.
The relief items included the most basic commodities like rice, dal and salt. This initiative is oriented towards reaching out to the most economically needy and the least privileged families.
Fr. Nazarius Lakra Sdb, the Vice- Provincial of Dimapur Province, flagged off the distribution in the presence of Fr. Nebu Mathew Sdb, the financial administrator, other Salesians and some volunteers.
