Dimapur, June 1: The first passenger flight from Kolkata to Dimapur since relaxation of COVID-19 lockdown measures landed at Dimapur Airport with 109 passengers, including two Assam bound passengers, on June 1.
The passengers of Air India flight AI 0709 were received at the airport by APC, Kikheto Sema, who is also in-charge of Dimapur for COVID-19, Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies, Honje Konyak, Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Rothihu Tetso, Chief Medical Officer, Dimapur, Dr Tiasunep.
Upon arrival, chairman, Dimapur Christian Forum, Rev. Moses Murry, offered a prayer.
After undergoing necessary procedures, 36 Kohima bound passengers were sent to Kohima by buses after providing lunch at the airport while remaining passengers were taken to Agri Expo. (Page News Service)
