DIMAPUR, APRIL 16: Agape college held its 25th convocation programme Tuesday, at its chapel hall, Padumpkhuri Dimapur on the theme “A life worth of gospel” (Philippians 1:27) .
The programme was organized for the graduating students wherein 16 students was conferred with the degree in Master of divinity, six students in bachelor of theology, three students in MA holistic child development.
Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA) executive secretary Tialemba Phom congratulated the graduating students for the successful completion. He said theological students after their completion of their students should not seek for job but let people and church seek them for their theological knowledge that one had achieved.
He also spoke about the three components which is equally important for theological students to obtain which includes the ‘3H’ (Head, Heart and Hand).
He further said that theological studies was not just about reading the Bible and singing but it should involve understanding of subject matter.
The programme was marked by conferring of degrees and award ceremony which was president over by academic dean Anato Awomi and college principal Dr. Samurl Venuh. At the programme valedictory speech was delivered by Lipokkumla, M. Div II and dedication prayer was delivered by lecturer reverend MK Dhar.
Earlier, invocation prayer was delivered by college lecturer Toshimenla, welcome address was delivered by College board Chairman Dr. Moangwati Aier and scripture reading was presented by lecturer Bendangjungla Ozüküm. (Page News Service)
