Advisor Moatoshi felicitated at his native village

Dimapur, May 28: Advisor to Labour & Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, and Excise Department, Moatoshi Longkumer was accorded a felicitation programme at his native village Longpa in Mokokchung District on May 26.
Acknowledging the gesture, the Advisor said that his electoral victory was through God’s grace and with support and prayer from Naga people, especially his Longpa villagers.
The Advisor informed that he plans to introduce mobile morung in the village to impart skills on food processing and carpentry to enhance people’s value addition, apart from depending on tapioca and sericulture which are the main sources of income for the villagers.
“Don’t take the training for namesake, if we are skilled and produce quality products, we can have a sustainable livelihood because there is a demand for quality products,” he said.
The Advisor also recently visited Longleng District to take stocks on the ongoing ITI building construction. He informed that the building is on the verge of completion which got delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. He assured that it will be completed in a month or two.
Earlier, short speeches were also delivered by Longpa Putu, Longpa Baptist Church, Longpa Union Mokokchung and Longpa Union Dimapur.
