Dimapur, April 16: The Department of Art and Culture held an introductory meeting with Advisor to Art & Culture, Treasuries & Accounts, K Konngam Konyak in Kohima on April 14.
The Advisor expressed happiness that the department officials were ready to help the people. He said the Advisor and senior officers should always seek to leave a good legacy behind through their good deeds for the people.
He said the department may not have as many activities as other big departments but it is well structured, and to do justice to the people he asked the officials to work very hard. “Whether we fail or succeed let’s all try and give our best in whatever we undertake,” Advisor added.
He also urged the officers to gladly accept their transfer since it is their duty to serve the people anywhere, and the state is quite small and no place is too far to travel.
Commissioner & Secretary A&C, Athel O Lotha, also spoke on the occasion and Director A&C, Adela Moa gave the welcome address. (Page News Service)
