Advisor H. Sethrongkyu meets union ministers

Kohima, May 25: Nagaland Advisor for IT & Communication, Economic & Statistics, Evaluation, H. Sethrongkyu Sangtam undertook his first official visit to New Delhi and called on different union ministers recently.
He met the Union Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Skill Development, Electronics and Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar at his office and also met with Minister of State for Minority Affairs, John Barla.
They talked about the IT sector in Nagaland that is making a positive but yet marginal impact on both urban and rural areas, fostering technological sustainability by leveraging all available state resources in a way, stated a release issued by the Advisor’s office.
Chandrasekhar has assured to support and encourage all the efforts to enhance the Information Technology landscape in Nagaland, it was informed.
Representing 52-Longkhim-Chare A/C under Tuensang district in the State Assembly, the Advisor is hopeful of bringing development in the IT sector in the state through various schemes of the Centre.
He is positive in the scale to which Technology can impact the lives of both the urban and rural regions and hopes to achieve technological sustainability in the state.
The Advisor was accompanied by Additional Director of IT & Communication Sabou Yashu and State Spokesperson for BJP Nagaland Pintu M Ghose.
