Dimapur, September 12: ADC & Electoral Registration Officer, Wokha, Mhathung Tsanglao has informed that the Election Commission of India has announced Electors Verification Programme from September 1 to October 15 as part of pre-revision activity.
Under this drive, verification and authentication of every elector is made mandatory, In this regard, to enable employees of every department for verification their enrolment in the electoral roll, the undersigned has set up Voters Facilitation Centre (VFC) at Deputy Commissioner Office, Wokha.
All HODs have been requested to inform the employees under their establishment that are registered in the Electoral Tolls under Wokha District to visit the VFC as per schedule given below and completes the verification.
Following are the date for verification department wise, (1) DC Office Staff September 9 & 10 (2). SP Office and Staff September 11 & 12 and (3) Rest of departments September 13 to 20.
Further, all electors have been directed to bring anyone of the following documents during the time of verification, Aadhar card, Indian Passport, Driving License, Government ID card, Bank Pass Book, Ration card, PAN card, Smart card issued by RGI and NPF, latest electricity/water/telephone/gas bill for that address either in the name of the applicant or that of his/her immediate relation like parents ect, any other documents as approved by the Commission.
