Dimapur, December 12: Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhandari has directed SDPO Bhandari and Officer-in-charge Bhandari PS to impose a fine of Rs 100 on any defaults for not following the SOPs and submit the report weekly.
In an order issued today, the ADC stated that all social and religious gatherings including weddings and jubilee celebrations under Bhandari sub division should take prior permission from District Administration for active monitoring and enforcement of standing SOP. The church leaders and public leaders have been directed to comply accordingly.
The ADC also directed the school authorities to strictly impose wearing of mask and social distancing of students. For any lapses the concerned authorities shall be liable to be prosecuted under section 51 of the National Disaster Act 2005. The officer’s incharge have been asked to visit schools to ensure adherence of SOP and also check all public transport including taxi passing through Bhandari must not carry above 50% passenger capacity.
