Dimapur, February 6: The first departmental review meeting was held on February 5 at Chief Secretary’s conference hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima with Industries & Commerce as the first department to present.
The team of senior government officials led by Chief Secretary J Alam were apprised about the various developments taken up by the Department of Industries & Commerce.
The Department highlighted activities under the Ministry of MSME, Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PM EGP), Prime Minister Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME), activities under Startup Nagaland programme etc.
They also shared their problems and issues pertaining to the implementation of schemes & projects and establishment matters of the office.
Officials of the Department also shed some light on the way forward and the strategy for the Department.
Alam stated that the purpose of the departmental review meeting was to highlight issues of various departments, to rejuvenate and bring the department on focus. (Page News Service)
