ACAUT, ASTD condemn Aug 26 kidnapping

Dimapur, August 28: ACAUT Nagaland has condemned the kidnapping of an employee of SymBios Creations Private Limited on August 26 and appealed to the concerned authorities to show no leniency and let the due process of law to take its course.
“When the whole world, including the state of Nagaland, is grappling with the pandemic and struggling for survival and bring things to normalcy at the earliest, the incidences of extortions and just a few days ago the report of the kidnapping of an employee of SymBios Creations Private Limited on 26 August 2020 at Dimapur is unfathomable,” it said.
ACAUT also lauded the swift action of the police in rescuing the victim and congratulated ASI Vikishe Chopy whose alertness and presence of mind led to the timely rescue of the victim.
ASTD : The AO Senso Telongjem Dimapur (ASTD) has condemned the atrocious kidnapping of an employee of SymBios Creation Pvt. Ltd, Dimapur by the cadres of NSCN-K (Khongo) in broad daylight on August 26 at Midland area of Dimapur, while he was performing his assigned duties.
The ASTD reiterated and reaffirmed its earlier proclamation made and resolved by all Ao Civil Societies based in Dimapur that “in the event of any untoward incidents or wrongful or fallacious eventualities that might happen to any of our Ao bonafide citizen/ members, it shall leave no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators into justice,” and urged the law enforcing authority to thoroughly investigate into and award befitting punishment to those accused as per the law of the land.
The union also expressed its sincere appreciations and thankfulness to the personal of West Police Station Dimapur led by ASI Vikishe Choppy for speedy execution in apprehending the kidnapper in a very short time. It further acknowledged the overwhelmingly initiative and coordinates carried out by the Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation ( DAYO ) for timely execution in lodging the FIR before the concern police station.
