A Happy place for Happy People ~ Imagi.Land inaugurated in Kisama

Kisama, November 26: Imagi.Land should allow the imagination of the young people to flower and blossom, said the Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Abu Metha at the inauguration of the family friendly-park with a the moniker a “Happy Place for Happy People” at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on November 26.
The inauguration of Imagi.Land, once called as Children’s Park is very symbolic as it sends out a message to all citizens of the state that this government believes in the dreams of young people, he said.
“If we are to realise the dream that we have of Nagaland then it is young people like Imagi.Nation, the company managing the park that have to be allowed to flower and function,” he said.
Advisor Tourism, Art & Culture, DPDB Chairman, Khehovi Yepthomi said that the renovation of the park was a very much needed initiative. I’d like to congratulate the Tourism Department and the key players for its successful implementation, he said.
Apart from a being a venue for children at the Hornbill Festival, the local communities will also benefit from the park with the recreational activities it provide, he added.
Imagi.Land, will be under the management of the event management company, Imagi.Nation.
The company have an agreement with the Government of Nagaland to manage it for twenty-years, said an Imagi.Nation member.
Giving a brief outline on concept of the park, host for the evening, Kako Yhoshii said that Imagi.Nation was looking for a space to host events when it came across the work of Architect, Tejano Seleyi, who was working on an idea of redesigning the entirety of the Naga Heritage Vilage for her final year thesis.
We decided to try our fortune by making the proposal to the Department of Tourism and it made through by God’s grace, he informed.
Executive Director and Founder Imagi.Nation, Kezhazelhou Ltu conveyed his gratitude to the Government of Nagaland, especially the tourism department for facilitating their dream of managing a space where family can have quality time.
He also thanked the Advisor to the Chief Minister, Abu Metha for his support and invaluable inputs to Imagi.Nation toward the realisation of their dream.
