Dimapur, August 2: The officials and party workers of 9th Kohima Town Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) today held a meeting in the presence of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) president K Therie and NPCC working president Khriedi Theünuo at Congress Bhavan, Kohima.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the forthcoming state general elections, fielding a winning Congress candidate in the constituency and reactivating the party functionaries at all levels.
NPCC president Therie and working president Theünuo exhorted the Congress leaders and workers of the constituency.
The meeting was chaired by 9th Kohima Town ACCC president Ako Zhasa, KDCC vice president i/c 9th Kohima Town ACCC N Meren Longchar offered prayer while 9th Kohima Town ACCC general secretary Yekiye tendered the vote of thanks.
Later in the evening, NPCC president Therie accompanied by his working president, other NPCC officials, KDCC officials and president Kevi Vizo held a meeting on the same line with 8th Western Angami ACCC at Sechü-Zubza Council Hall.
The meeting was also attended by village council leaders and public.
