Kohima, October 4: The 9th edition of Horsepower Challenge will be held at Agri Expo, 4th Mile Diphupar, from October 12 to 14.
Organised by the Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) in collaboration with Nexa Jimmy is the premier event in the North East.
Informing this during a press conference at De Oriental Grand, Kohima today, NAC president Burakum said this year’s edition will feature an addition of autorickshaw rally and stock category alongside the other categories of events which have been going on for the past years.
He said that so far around 25 rallyist from Nagaland and seven from Meghalaya and Assam have been registered to participate in various categories.
The last date for registration have been fixed on October 9, he said.
The competitions include SUV category (four wheel), open category (all types of vehicles), rookie category (newcomers), ladies category, and stock category where no changes are made to the vehicle and will be used as it is since the purchase, he informed.
The main rally will be held on October 13 and 14 while the Autorickshaw rally will be held on the first and the second day in the same venue.
