Kohima, December 3: Into its third day today, the Hornbill Festival at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama has so far attracted 70,820 visitors.
Tourism officials said the 70,820 visitors include 57,480 locals, 11,900 domestic and 1,480 foreign tourists.
On the inaugural day on Sunday, 45,142 visitors comprising 407 foreigners, 4954 domestic tourists and 39,782 locals witnessed the event.
The second day saw a decrease in locals at 8,954 while domestic tourists also came down to 3346 but there was an increase of foreign tourists at 548.
On Tuesday also there was further decrease of local visitors at 8,745, but domestic tourists increased to 3600. Number of foreign tourists also down to 485, said officials.
