7 road projects worth Rs 1006.06 cr sanctioned for Nagaland during 2020-21

Dimapur, April 12: The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has sanctioned 7 Road Projects of 119.52 Km worth Rs. 1006.06 Cr for the state of Nagaland during 2020-21.


In a series of tweets, Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Government of India, Nitin Gadkari stated that Rs 15.11 crore has been sanction for strengthening of NH-61 (2 New) under NH Division Mokokchung in the state of Nagaland.
He said for widening to IL & improvement of geometric from KM 101.00 to km 125.00 on NH-61, the Ministry has sanctioned Rs 252.2 crore.
“Widening of existing Single lane / Intermediate lane road to 2 lane of NH 61 and Widening of existing Single lane / Intermediate lane road to 2 lane of NH 61 in the state of Nagaland has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 226.45 Cr,” he tweeted.
Gadkari further tweeted that widening of existing Single lane / Intermediate lane road to 2 lane of NH 61 in the state of Nagaland has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 297.25 Cr and widening of existing single lane road to intermediate lane road from Mokokchung to Chare via Dikhu on EPC mode in the State of Nagaland has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 192.93 Cr.


The Transport Minister also stated that for development of existing 2 lane pavement including strengthening of NH-36 in Dimapur city portion in the State of Nagaland has been sanctioned with a budget Rs. 22.12 Cr.
